Our engineer will start by visually checking that the boiler, its installation and its positioning, comply with the current rules and regulations.

Next they will check the boiler's basic operation by firing the boiler. They will also try to indentify any initial faults.

The engineer will then remove the front panel to examine the main components to see they are clean and free from damage. They will clean any boiler parts where required.

They will also check all the electrics and inspect all of the pipe work and joints.

After this the engineer will ensure flue terminals are unobstructed and internal flue components are sealed properly.

Then the gas valve will be checked with a flue gas analyser to make sure the boiler burner is combusting efficiently and properly.

The engineer will then carry out a gas-tightness test to establish if there are any leaks in the system.

After this the engineer will carefully put the casing back to the boiler and check that it is sealed properly.

Lastly they will give your a copy of the service report which details everything that has been done, and also note any possible faults or damages found during the inspection.

If any of these tests show a fault, the engineer will inform you and give you our recommendations of the repair.

With LPG boilers the engineer will also check the gas tank.
